Noelle's First Haircut

Yes it has finally happened. Noelle got her first haircut. Oh I know it seems a little late since she is one and a half but both my girls have just basically been baldies for the first year of their lives. We thought that evening things out may help stimulate hair growth. We took her to Chloe's Carousel which is a great children's hair salon complete with a play area and barber seats that look like carousel horses although you can't really tell in the pictures. Noelle opted for "Uh-Boots" when asked what she wanted to watch since each child gets a movie put on while they get their hair cut. For those of you that don't speak Noelle-ese, "Uh-Boots" = Boots the monkey from Dora the Explorer. Noelle then sat glued to her favorite Dora show for the whole 5 minutes that it took to even all of her 15 hairs (give or take a few..) She also was given a sweet little fabric covered clip which she promptly flung out of her hair upon arriving at home for dinner. All in all, it was a great success and I think the haircut looks great. She actually seems to have more hair now that it is even! I also now have a snip of her hair and a groovy certificate for her baby book.
